Allyson Felix was born on November 15, 1985. This American athlete from the track and field represents the U.S. at dozens of sporting events such as the Olympics and World Championships. Through her professional career, she has won 21 gold and silver medals. She is also the proud owner of three bronze. Felix has a specialization in sprint, a sport she began playing when in the ninth grade. Sprinter Allyson Michelle Felix is among track and field's top athletes. Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18, 1985. The father of her, Paul Felix, was an ordained pastor at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and their mother, Marlean Felix, was an educator at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was born with a talent to play sports. She recognized her sprinting aptitude while she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her initial tryout at the school, she placed in second first in the 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship.
