Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, who was born on the 9th of April, 1987 in Philadelphia is an American R&B and soul singer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, her debut album, Fearless was released in the year 2008. It debuted on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album spawned four hits with the singles "Need U Bad" and "Bust your Windows" Both of which reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It was her first #1 single to be featured on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song Billboard chart. It was Sullivan's sophomore album Love Me Back in 2010 and Love Me Back in 2011, followed. The album was well-received by the critics. After three years of hiatus, Sullivan signed to RCA Records in the year 2015. In 2015 she released Reality Show's first studio album. It was her first top-rated album on the Top R&B Albums charts. In 2021, she released her critically acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the single "Pick Up Your feelings". Sullivan has won Two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards over the course of her career. Time has named her among their Top 100 Influential People for 2022.
