Meredith Salenger

Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. She enjoyed performing for her loved ones and relatives as an early child. Her mom took her to her first acting class at the age of eight old. Her first role was a small part as an orphan singing and dancing for the feature film Annie which was directed by John Huston. Salenger had also been featured in a series of commercials on television. Salenger was the first actress to play the lead part in The Journey of Natty Gann, which was a Disney movie that starred John Cusack with Ray Wise. The film was the first US film to win the Gold Award from the Moscow Film Festival. She also won "Best Female Actress in a drama" in the Youth in Film Awards in honor of her role in the fun-loving Natty. She was also in four movies before turning 18 years old.
